In its brief life span, the Festival has become a leading juried competition showcase for international independent filmmakers and their work. In 2006, RIIFF screened over 300 titles in six days to appreciative crowds of over 22,000 people; making it the largest festival in New England. |

TimeFissure Studios, an independent animation production
studio devoted to producing quality animation, CGI, and digital
effects for independent film, commercials and the entertainment

The Rhode Island Film Collaborative
is designed to help foster the growth and educate the local
independent film community. We do this by offering
a number of services and events designed to increase networking
and the sharing of ideas. The RIFC holds networking meetings,
casting events, educational nights, pitch meetings, writing
groups and many other types of meetings to help filmmakers,
screenwriters, actors and crew network and socialize.
The RIFC also has a production wing that assists filmmakers complete
their films from many different stages and levels of help. Filmmakers
can have the RIFC directly oversee their production or just get assistance
along the way. The RIFC can be as involved in your project as
the filmmaker wishes.
